J.R. Carroll is a native of Pine Bluff. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (accounting) from the University of Arkansas in 1999 and earned his Juris Doctorate degree Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas Law School in 2003. In law school he was a Thomas Pearson Scholarship Fellow, quarter-finalist in both Moot and Trial Court competitions and served on the Board of Advocates.

Practice Areas: His practice areas include general litigation, contracts, construction law, real estate, commercial litigation, debt collection and insurance defense.
